I dont think I will ever be able to stop playing this!
I thought the concept of it was pretty nifty even though it seems like it was inspired by Loco Roco. Though the idea of going through cracks was good it seemed to be annoying because it went by slowly.
If you ask me the game play seems slow for this type of engine but the idea was good. Oh yeah, fifened.
Just compared this to To-Suta...
Compared this to To-Suta because of the last review, and that person is being stupid. The two games are completely different in gameplay, feel and style. To-Suta has shooting in it which makes all the difference when compared to Bee Dodger<3, To-Suta also as an impact feel from the shots and moving is slow and jagged while in this it is much more faster and agile. The only similarities is the backround(which is a common in a lot of things) and the highscores(that is common too).
With that said this game was fun and is pretty addictive, nice bees and I love the detail on the larger bees and the bee felt like it was really agile with the controls. I also liked the lack of sound effects for it made the game lose that annoying aspect from when you get hit.
I like how there is also more to dodging bees and how you can get coins to add to your score.
I love how you used Dan Paladins music which at first seemed out of place but now it makes more sense that you used it after playing it a few times.
Though for some reason ShirtTurtle reminds me of Dan Paladin in this game(besides the music).
I wish I could of done a part for this bbut I can't code for shit but I don't mind much.
The only things I didn't like about it is that some of the challenges aren't as straight forward.
I love this game, it's so fun! I added it to my favourites!
The only thing I don't like is the file-size but that's ok cause it's so awesome.
This is the awesomerz!!!
a ton of peopel loved it, it brings a tear to my eye :')
this games fun to play because you have no go but to beat the enemies and i can see how complex the coding is too, it must of been hard to make but nonetheless its pretty fun with all the combos and different weapons.
it was awesome, and i think it made it easier considering i have a tablet.the only thing that i didnt like was that some levels finding the 1 spot was kinda hard considering there all the same but it would of been nicer if it was a different colour.
i left the game alone for 15 minutes and the screen was covered in powerups. my ship was crazy after i collected them all plus it wouldnt stop shaking.
but its fun to move around super fast and cover the screen with your ship.
very addicting game but my question is did you use a 3rd party version of flash with 3d capabilities or did you use a false 3d engine that was actually 2d? please reply if you can.
I wrote code in ActionScript to render the cubes using Flash's draw commands. No 3rd party tools, I just used a very simple projection method. The 3D code and some more info is available on my webpage at http://www.flecko.net/cubefie ld.html
